He has been kicking around the team a couple years now. The fact he was cut is a slight hint that depth at his position has improved.

CB depth after the starters is probably the worst on the team save for maybe the linebackers so I think it’s more an indictment on his poor play than it is an encouraging sign about depth at the position. Corn Elder was released as well so I imagine they’ll be looking for outside reinforcements.

JDR and Ron were both LBs and they’re supposed to be defensive gurus yet their drafting and development of LBs plus the play of their LBs has been straight up garbage. Not encouraging.
