I was called a Snyder shill for being frank about my belief that he isn't going anywhere. Until they actually pack his bags and kick him out, he's still not going anywhere.

But the media posts another story... "owners are quote upset end quote with Snyder and the distractions ", yeah how about we put his ouster to a vote...

Then 2 owners vote him out, out of the 24 needed

Snyder I've said time and time again is a piece of shit. Nobody here in this city has ever defended him, nobody here is a fan. Everyone wants him gone.

That said the allegations against him are flimsy at best. Deal with it he's staying.

Why should anyone deal with him or accept him? Thats asinine.

Careful what you ask for.

When the Os sucked 15 years ago and I lived in Baltimore, it was great. Youd buy cheap seats and then by the 4th inning you are sitting 10 rows behind home plate. By the 7th inning youre right behind home plate with your face on MASN. Ushers didnt care at that point. Then they got good and tickets got expensive and seats got filled so you couldnt seat hop.

Fed Ex, hate it like everyone but you could go for free if you wanted, people and groups giving tickets away.

Now it seems I am going to have to spend maybe $800 (?) for a Saturday night hotel room, casino, dinner, breakfast and 2 tickets.

if the team gets good, Id def enjoy and not blink to drop that kind of money but that takes away one of those beach weekend getaways.

Because he's not going anywhere so imo bitching about him repeatedly is pointless. But hey yall do what you feel like, protest companies, boycott, buy knock off jerseys etc to "avoid giving Dan money".

So we should ignore the biggest problem the team has and just live with him?

f*** that. That makes no sense. The fanbase should declare all-out war on him to make his position as untenable as possible. You're proposing the exact opposite action of what a good fan who wants to see a good team should do.

I didn't say to ignore him. I tolerate him. Just like I tolerate my old age arthritis and knee pain. It f***ing sucks but I'm hobbling around 😂

He isn't arthritis. Like I said in my edit, the fanbase should declare all-out war on him to try and drive him out. That's the only possible way to have a hope for a good team. "Living with him" just ensures there's no chance at all of him leaving until he dies at 110.

Control what you can control, dont worry about what you cant control. Fans have tried everything to get rid of Snyder but hes not going anywhere.

Im in the "apathy" camp. Watch on sundays .. maybe wear a Skins shirt to the grocery store on game day but thats about it.

Winning cures all. Until then .... everything is meh.

On some level, that's starting to happen as fans are no longer buying tickets or showing up... I thought I read recently that the franchise is officially dead last in revenue in the NFL. At some point that will become unsustainable, maybe not this year but a near total boycott has to impact him eventually. And that's really all the fans can do, vote with their wallets and hope it brings about change. Ain't no protests or investigations going to make a difference.

It's going to be fun for him with all the debt he's accrued, and will need to further accrue to build a stadium.

Not sure what you're suggesting.

Is the point that we should be careful hoping for them to get good, because that'll make tix/seating harder? Well, hell, I'd 1B x prefer having a harder time getting seats to a winning team that makes it fans proud than have easy access to great seats to watch a shit-show with no redeeming qualities -- in fact, I have the latter option all the time, and choose to Nancy Reagan that shit (just say no!) We should all be wanting them to get good, otherwise what's the point of being a fan?

If the point is we should be careful hoping for a new and good stadium because people might actually want to go that one, again, I can't think of a single context in which the current stadium itself is viewed with any kind of silver lining; it's a shit stadium, in a shit place, with shit parking where you get the privilege of watching your team put up shit performances while sitting among a majority of fans who are rooting for the opponent. We should all be wanting the stadium to be a place that you'd actually be willing to pay good money to go rather than a place you wouldn't bother trekking to even with free tickets, free parking and $100 food/beverege credit (that would buy you half a cold hot dog and a small coors light "beer.")

I don’t think that’s true at all. Where are the mass protests by fans outside the stadium on game day? Why are fans still going to games? That’s the type of stuff that needs to be done.

They did, that dolt tried to form that boycottDan site. It didn't work. He still posts on another message board and has a dangerous toxic obsession against him but that's a story for another day. ;)

That being said, I'd be remiss if I weren't a tad concerned about this Chap Peterson or whatever guy objecting to the stadium. We'll see what happens because Washington has money and sure can buy other votes, but he had a pretty adamant stance against the stadium in VA, saying that the R-words had a lot of history (was a former R-word season ticket holder) and now this new club has no history and no fans.

Just expressing the point that going to a Skins game will get much more expensive. Much better experience, but much more expensive.

We did protests. We did airplane banners. We brought signs to games and they banned signs. We circulated petitions. We called in to radio shows and made noise. We made it widely known we hate Snyder and want him gone. Everyone knows where us fans stand. That was back when people cared.

2021 - we were 31st in attendance, ahead of the f***ing Lions.

2022 - league wide attendance was up except the skins who had a -19.4% decline.

Not going to games is the only thing that matters and effects the bottom line and I am doing my part.

I dont care anymore. Ive given up hope. Ill tune in on Sundays, Ill enjoy the 5-7 wins a year and treat a 3 game win streak like we won the Super Bowl. But Im not paying for parking to stand outside Fed Ex. Im not calling in to a radio show to "vent" bc I dont need to vent. I vented 15 years ago.

I’m thinking like Man United style, storm the gates protests! ;) (Not that it did them any good either, but different levels of scummy ownership also)….

I think if the fans rallied again….in this day and age it would be more meaningful and better publicized.

most are just too beaten down to care enough…me included.

Oh one attempt didn't work? I guess we should just give up and embrace him.

Why is he a dolt? For someone who claimed not to support Snyder, you've been far more supportive of him than of people who don't support him.
