The flavor of the week is that any undersized prospect centre will simply be a winger in the NHL.no reason to think that.

For Vegas:
1st round pick
2nd round pick
2nd round pick
3rd round pick
Nick Suzuki
for
Max Pacioretty
I don't think that's good long-term value for the organization. Vegas really needs to stop trading assets.
Meh, 3 years 5.3 per. Habs have a lot of cap space and nothing to spend it on. They can simply retain 50% and flip him. This is a strange deal Vegas could regret trading Nick Suzuki, however Tomas Tatar is another potentially bad contract added to Montreal
Vegas seems to be taking what made them good last year.. Speed, and saying.. Not so fast anymore.. Stastny and Patches are good but.. Not sure they will do well in that system
So a 1st, 2nd and Tatar?
Maybe I’m just not high on Tatar. Not sure what contributions he will make in Montréal.
No one was wrong, I'd rather have Skinner for a second and think he's the better player. In a recent Patch to Avs proposal...
people scoffed and mocked at "Tyson Jost + Connor Timmins + 2020 2nd" for an extended Patch.
THIS isn't much off in value than this deal. show your faces and admit you were wrong on the value of MAX PACIORETTY.
stop they're already deadThey're going to need a center for the 1st line as well though.
MTL was patient and ended up getting a decent return in the end. Depending on what Suzuki becomes, this looks fair for both sides.
1:30am ET...... Bergevin got into the liquor and decided to make some trades.
