Well I mean Slavia had a nice campaign in Europa last season but other than that I think the Belgian league is better in every aspect. More exposure, better financially, definitely way better depth.
Also not only did Slavia lose two players to Brugge and Genk, Plzen will also see Hrosovsky leave for Genk later this month. Plzen do play Antwerp in the EL which will be interesting, I do think Plzen are slight favourites for that tie though.
Of course, there's a reason why you guys keep selling players to the big leagues while we sell to yours. :D

Hrošovský leaving is a huge blow for Plzeň. I think their days of being a relevant club at the European level are close to over.

It's weaker for sure. We lost our standout CB duo due to release clauses and our most creative midfielder to PAOK. One more player is set to leave but he's not that big of a loss. We also have some serious issues up front, been having a real tough time finishing chances as a result.

That's good. We have some serious issues at the back

Although Bolingoli looks good Tierney is still out injured, our new CB Julien hasn't played enough to get up to speed and Simunovic always has an error in him. We're also weak at RB - we just signed a new one and he got injured at the weekend.

Cluj won't be an easy tie so we'll see how we cope with them first.

Ten Hag starting with Dolberg again. Can't wrap my head around it. Must be very impressive during practice. Marin has been passed in favor of Mazraoui. The former has been rather shaky in his defensive duties. Not the line-up I hoped for, but Ten Hag usually knows what he's doing.

Brugge beat Dinamo Kyiv 1-0 in a pretty even game. Both teams had their moments to get another goal or two.
But overall this game lacked any kind of rhytm thanks to a very annoying ref who stopped play for literally everything.

Decent enough result for Ajax, 2:2 draw against PAOK in Greece. Positive results for Ferencvaros and Copehnagen who got 1:1 draws away at Zagreb and Belgrade, however Dinamo totally dominated Ferencvaros. Copenhagen apparently dominated Red Starr too. Qarabag won 2:1 away in Cyprus, should progress

Ajax' defense was shaky and it's midfield was uninspiring. They were better in the second half. When Neres came in he immediately created havoc. The 2-2 is a still hopeful result.

FC Porto scored a late winner to get a vital away goal and win in Krasnodar. Important away goals for Olympiakos and Celtic so far as those games are still ongoing

Celtic the only away team today who didn’t win but they get an important scoring draw in Romania

The big winners were LASK who won 2:1 in Basel and Rosenborg winning 3:1 against Maribor, both should progress now

Celtic were dealt a blow with mikey johnstone getting a tight calf or hammy yesterday. He was phenomenal in first league game and a threat to create something everytime he got the ball. Hopefully hes healthy for the home leg.

APOEL progress to the playoff round despite losing the first leg, winning 2:0 in Baku. Their new manager is Thomas Doll btw, only hired a few days ago but APOEL go through a new manager every three months it seems

Rosenborg with an impressive showing against Maribor, winning 3:1 in both legs

Dani Olmo the star of the show for Dinamo as they are dismantling Ferencvaros 3-0 with just over 15 minutes left in Hungry.

The home side is down to 10-men after a sending off in the 70th minute.

Dinamo to play Rosenberg in round for a spot in the group stage.

Crazy game in Kiev. Dinamo twice scoring with their first chance of the half, Brugge finally settling the tie in the 89th minute (2-2), then Kiev scoring again (3-2) in the 94th and Brugge finally finishing it off (3-3) in the 96th.

Kiev also kicking at everything that moves and an awful Croatian ref who let them do it, then finally giving a Dinamo defender a red card after what must have been his 10th foul of the game but then immediatly handing a ridiculous red card to Brugge  This guy shouldn't get another CL or EL game for the rest of the season.

Anyway. Now on to Basel/LASK.

Man, Kiev are such a frustrating team to play against.

What a final few minutes there.

Meanwhile Ajax is having trouble vs PAOK. They don't create chances easily and PAOK is sneaky on the counter. Only one team deserving a victory here, though. Marin now injured (I think. He also didn't play very well so could be just because of that), which paves the way for Dest to also make his CL debut. Kid has grown leaps and bounces these past few months. Might even be Oranje material in a few years.

After the 1-0 win on the road to Krasnodar, Porto are losing 3-0 at the half in the home leg and look be going out themselves.

Surprised he got a game so quick after being attacked about a week ago at a night club (by probably Hajduk fans). He also almost caused a riot in an EL match two years ago in Turkey

lol @ Porto. Lost their league opener to a team promoted from the third division and now getting trounced at home. Not surprising, already had an average squad then lost most of their best players and didn't really make any good signings. This is probably the worst team I've seen from them in a long time.

Ajax and Celtic have both turned their ties around in the 2nd half of the 2nd leg.

Yeah he was awful. If there was a VAR he would have been corrected 10+ times.
