Which 2 Manchester United players were in both the 1999 and 2008 matchday squads for the Champions League Final?

Anelka it is. CL with Real and Chelsea.

Abusement P, you're up.
Liverpool letting Anelka go and and Signing El Hadji Diouf instead is one of the biggest sliding doors moments for that team.

Probably one of the lousy defenders that only Ferguson could get anything out of like Brown or O’Shea

Sorry I got nothing right now. I’ll think of some questions. If anyone has anything, fire away.
I have not scored in England, despite making the most appearances in that league (100+ appearances).

I have 1 goal each in Germany, Spain and France .

I am an active player.

who am I?

Milan were the first Italian club to win a CL/European Cup - who were the first Italian club to appear in a CL/European Final?

That same Fiorentina team included an inside forward named Miguel Montuori who himself achieved a 'first' in the Italian national team's history.

What was Montuori's achievement?

Afraid not.

My understanding is Italy first capped a foreign-born player as early as 1920.

In the time of Mussolini, meanwhile, Italy won two World Cups with teams that featured naturalised South Americans - including one player who had played for Argentina in the 1930 World Cup final. But there may be a future quiz question in that, so I'll add no more.

So as not to stall things much longer, if I don't have an answer by the time I first pop on here tomorrow, I think I'll share the answer.

A clue: ecemleafs was in the right vicinity.
