Based on what was rumoured to be turned down, I don't see how this gets it done. Pinto/Batherson at the very least would need to also be included.

There's also the "trading in the division" factor.

While I do think it is unlikely, I will say it has been very quiet in Sens land. Even at Pierres presser on FA day, he gave off a vibe like something was up.
Maybe it’s just me, but I fully expect something to happen out of the blue in the next few weeks.

Typically if there is a rumour, of any magnitude, it would be discussed at length in HF as soon as it’s made. Anything with any kind of substantiated claim for sure.

The fact that the only mention of this rumour is a post in the Sens trade thread, tells me it’s not a real rumour.
