I think a trade for Goligoski is the best they can do.

Wouldn't be surprising though if Hudon's agent asked for permission to talk to teams directly. Didn't we have something similar happen with another player that the Habs waived earlier this season?

Call me crazy but I know Kovalchuk would be a good addition. A veteran RW that can provide offence. His value is prolly negative but we can ship them hudon or Alzner.

I think Goligoski could help us but his contract finish in 2 years after this years at 5.475m. But if we give them Schlemko and the price is not to high I would be ok

Fla needs to open up cap space. Same deal we made with Winnipeg when we took Mason and Armia for an AHL scrub except we’re taking more money and term so we need a better return.

They’ve done similar in the past with the Crouse trade.

I was on the bandwagon saying we were not trading Subban and the rumors were false. Boy was I ever shocked that day! But as far as Galchenyuk, I don't think it's the same denial.
