In theory we could still be paid to take Bickell off Hawks hand, since he wouldn't be playoff eligible anyway but we're not going to the playoffs so who cares.

Like they've been saying with Drouin all day, he could still be traded but not play in playoffs, well Bickell and even Bickell+ for Cowen wouldn't play in playoffs anyway I can't imagine. No real point now might as well wait for offseason at this point but it's still possible

I'd take Stempniak over PAP and considering he was one of the last players announced, the market must have not been there.

I can't believe we trade Winnik and then don't trade anyone else. Laich is supposed to be in the lineup today, but he wasn't on the practice lines. So either one of the call ups is not going to be playing, a normal roster player is not playing, or there is a trade. Unless they are lying about Laich.

That deal can still happen at the entry draft.

I do not think it can....I believe he had to be on the teams roster by the trade dealing in order for the buyout to happen and the special situation to be used.

Just my opinion.
