Boy
It'll take some kind of MIRACLE to get rid of Hoffman today..
I already know it won't happen but ive NEVER prayed for something as much as wanting to get rid if this guy's final year

Can't wait to see who we ditch today, again, don't expect much tho lol

The only players I think there's a slight chance we see moved today are Allen, Edmundson and maybe Anderson.

But I don't think Hughes is in any rush to move Anderson so it'd have to be a heavy overpay to land him.

Happy TDL! (Feels like I was on this board only a few hours ago… thanks Habs west coast trip!)

Not because of the TDL, but I took the afternoon off (and all day Monday) so I guess I won’t miss the “action”.

If you’re looking for other stuff to watch on the side, Formula 1 is back today with the Free Practice sessions for the Bahreïn GP. There’s been some roster “trades” over there too!

Allen is a very affordable stop gap for the Habs until they figure out their longterm goaltending. He isn't going anywhere

I thought Laval was a longshot at best to make the playoffs.
Yeah, but they're closer than the Habs.

It's more like Belzile, or Schueneman (if he's still up) would have been nice to send them down.

On a non hockey side, it's good that they're up to get NHL paycheques.

They're in a playoff spot now.
Seriously? Maybe I don't know how AHL playoffs work as I see 4 teams well ahead of them in the North Division and 7 teams in the Atlantic. How many teams make the playoffs from their conference? More than 8?

6 pts, -21, perma injured.

Edmundson is going nowhere. Poor guy fell off hard.
He's big, rangy, physical, born in a Western Canadian province and he's won a Cup.

Someone's going to bite...only question is will it make it worth Hughe's while.

If we're going to get a second or third round pick for ED I would hold on to until next year and roll the dice again
I agreed. Edmundson didn't look healthy yesterday. We should try to trade him next year when he may be in better shape.

The first 5 teams make the playoffs in the Atlantic division.
So 5 from the North as well? Laval is 4 points away from being the worst team in their conference

Yea it's not like his contract runs out this summer, so if the best offers Hughes gets are in the ballpark of a 3rd then I'd probably hold off until next deadline too.

If he can stay healthy next year then I have no doubt he could fetch us a 1st.

Eddy and Hoff go today.................returns will be underwhelming.
Hopefully Drouin gets waived after the deadline.

Would be nice to not have to watch Drouin again.

But he really is so good for the tank. Just last night he single handedly killed any chance we had of tying it with our net empty with his back to back turnovers that allowed LA to clear the zone.

Small thing but the title of the chart at the top is off by 1 so GP is over team, W is over GR etc.

Feel likes Hughes held out trading our guys thinking the offers would increase and now teams have moved on and made their moves already
hard to say but he might have alot of weight to move this summer. Wonder if he is thinking moving Savard if he can't unload JE?
