He went to hit Gionta (hard to tell if it was dirty since Gionta moved out of the way) and then the two met up to get at it and Bourque came in to protect Gio and got knocked down.

Lets not forget the Parros incident where Orr showed his true colours. (52 secs below)

The game can get emotional but I can't see this being anything more than a send-off.

holy crap how did i forget this thanks

I also cant stop watching Prust just standing there watching Tinordi clobber that guy like hmmm yea bend the knee a bit more get weight into the punch Tinner yea yea thats it yea now push his shoulder down so he's easier to punch in the face yea thats it

Holy overreaction Batman! Colton Orr is useless. He'll play 3-5 minutes and have 0 effect on the game. He has barely played at all in the AHL. People losing their **** over his call up is actually pathetic.

Don't worry about Orr. It will be his last NHL game and they are letting him finish as a Leaf rather than as a Marlie bench warmer. Just concentrate on the game and win it. Actually, run up the score early so we Leaf fans can relax and enjoy the game.

I would scratch Markov (replaced by Gonchar), Plekanec (replaced by Malhotra), Petry (replaced by Weaver), Gilbert (replaced by Pateryn) and play Tokarski. Subban is from Toronto and I think he will want to play.

Galchenyuk - Desharnais - Gallagher
DSP - Eller - Parenteau
De la Rose - Malhotra- Weise
Prust - Mitchell - Flynn

Healthy scratches: Plekanec
Injured: Pacioretty

Gonchar - Subban
Emelin - Weaver
Beaulieu - Pateryn

Healthy scratches: Markov, Petry and Gilbert

Tokarski
Price

I would do all that IF we win tonight against Detroit and Tampa Bay lose.

Let them win and finish 5th last. That'll show 'em.

People if Carolina do not win another game Toronto wil not win another game.
Colton Orr or no Colton Orr. :help:

There is far too much at stake with McD and J EkyL...
They are talking a franchise player adds Billions to the value of a club.
Not the case in TO IMO as their value is already stout but certainly to teams like Buf.

Yeah if the Habs win tonight there isn't much more to play for come Saturday. Heck with the team playing in Toronto I would call up a guy like Hudon and reward him with a game. Surely it's worth a shot?

Every time they play the Leafs before the playoffs it results in some injury that kills us.

Grabovski taking out Markov right before the playoffs, for example.

I agree. Orr is a heavyweight who won't go out in disgrace. Besides, who on the Habs will waste thier time fighting him right before the playoffs?

Guess that will depend on who's on the ice if/when something happens. Otherwise, I think Prust would be the default answer.

Since we ALWAYS play the Laughs at season end, we ALWAYS play them before the playoffs.

Who.did they injured last year?

I think they're just giving him one last game with the big club before he retires, nothing to see here guys.

If he runs anyone or anything of the sort the league will step in, you don't call up a goon for the last game of the season and tell him to target anyone.

Orr is a classy guy and is not a Bruin, don't see him causing trouble

classy move by the Leafs to bring the veteran for possibly his last game

Dirty hit attempt on Plaknec, trying to fight Gionta, suckerpunching Bourque, letting Parros fall down...

Classy guy, really?:help:
