The Rangers have done a complete 180 since we threw them to rock bottom a couple weeks ago. I really don't see us winning that game. Our BEST-case scenario out of the next 7 is probably 2-3-2...and that just keeps us barely above water. Winnipeg right after that's probably a loss too, we never match up well with them. So really it's the next eight that are a killer stretch.

We usually don't even show up to play Winnipeg. Another GARBAGE team that looks like the 80s Oilers against us. Their fans are really irritating too. ''Our team is good! We're gonna make the playoffs! We aren't a lottery team! Don't talk bad about us''. I dislike them more than Leafs fans.

I hope the Janssen experiment ends as soon as Elias is back. He had his career shift yesterday and its all down hill from there. Didn't notice him on the ice for any of his 7(?) shifts tonight.

Oh and fire DeBoer. If not for killing Larsson, Tedenby, or Josefson, or the shootout lineup, but for his constantly putting the first PP unit on the ice lacking Gelinas…the only guy on the team that would shoot the puck from the point. Coincidence NJ scored on the PP when he was on the ice? Maybe, but I thought more attacking happening in his 30 seconds of PP time each time he was out there than the rest of the time.

That is all.

At least Larsson is showing why he's the 4th overall pick. Him and gelinas have been the best pairing. Pete should play them more. But they won't because they doesn't fit Pete's criteria of needing to be 28 or older.

Best development so far this year :)

Sadly I think all you're gonna get is another Dagostino or Booby Butler.

Can we trade for Wojtek Wolski or something? I'm dead serious. We need a shootout specialist I think. Tired of seeing Zajac and Henrique stink up the joint in the shootout.

Not to mention Zajac on the PP. I've had enough of this little experiment.

Schneider says he's not used to losing just now in the post game.

Can't see him staying if we don't turn it around.

Hemsky's 20-58 career (34.5%) - just saying...

it's hard to go from a team that was basically the top seed every year he was there to this

plus the canucks actually could, ya know score.

If we lose to this GARBAGE Nashville team with Pekka Rinne's shooter tutor backup, heads really need to roll. Decapitate if that happens.

I actually got turned on by the chance of acquiring him as this game went on. Not that there really is a prospect.

Devils Trap or somebody said he really thought he was coming here. Wish he was right.

It is crazy how different the goal support is between Marty and Cory.

Is the team that reliant in Marty's puck handling?

I don't think it's entirely that.

Cory has faced harder opponents too IMO.
Flyers vs Toronto is a big drop off in scoring ability.

I'm sure they're thinking that if they lose to this GARBAGE Devils team with goalless wonders stacked through the roster, that they'll commit mass suicide.

I think Larsson has relished making up for Gelinas D zone gaffs he has at times. He likes being the senior partner, that seems to be upping his confidence.

Yeah that's the biggest factor really.

0 goals against Pittsburgh - we certainly got Fleury going, he's played well since
2 goals against Vancouver
0 goals against Winnipeg - total team no-show
4 goals against NYR - they were a garbage fire at the time
1 goal against CBJ - well I can't explain that one, other than another no-show
2 goals against Vancouver
0 goals against Minnesota - everyone knew this would be a disaster after Philly
1 goal against Toronto

10 goals in 7 games plus three OT's.

If we beat Nashville then this was a successful back to back as winning after getting 3 out of 4 points on the road isn't bad

Need to knock out a few wins though.

DeBoer: "We did everything we wanted to do in here on a back-to-back in a tough building against a rested team except find a way to put an extra puck behind [Jonathan Bernier]." #NJDevils

'We did everything but score' again from DeBoer. How about picking different players to do the shootout? I'd like to see a Ryder/Brunner/Loktionov shootout or something, ANYTHING else other than Zajac and Henrique.

Nashville is thinking the same about us.

No one has scored less goals than them in the West. Though they've still got more goals than us.

We also have better goaltending than their no name guy.

Very good news is Gelly is clearly ok and was able to get past he early shakes quickly and continues to be a delight to watch.

Plus with the way Larsson is playing I am excited about the future of our blue line.

6-37, I never want to see Ryder in the shootout ever again, I don't care if he has four goals that night. Tonight's attempt was pathetic...freaking Rolston had more of a chance of scoring with his howitzers.
