its a really late hit that was not necessary, TW does this as often as TW (Tiger Woods) pops painkillers (pre-car accident) which was FAR too often...

he is a repeat offender and this should be a suspension

Literally the opposite but that's cool. You guys will just say whatever the f*** you feel like, clearly, and let the facts resolve somewhere well afterwards.

He was behaving for a while but he’s back on his bullshit. It’s really going to hurt the Caps when they lose him again.

If the team didn’t care enough to respond to the hit, then why should anyone else?

The hit definitely warranted some type of retaliation, but no one on the Pens is willing to issue a challenge.

If you’re Wilson, you should run roughshod on a team like Pittsburgh. Hopefully Hextall recognizes this.

No current team is equipped to go eye for an eye with this year’s Caps. It would be stupid to try. You might even need a time machine.

Maybe Hextall can fight Wilson like he fought Chelios.

He has grown a lot. He his really chilled his dirty **** down. And I'm someone who absolutely hated the way he played before. The fact that he was dirty before shouldn't lead to him being unable to play physically and clean without being accused of dirty hits.

This hit was square, clean, and a hockey play. Just late, and not that late. Interference minor is appropriate.

PSA to all the haters. Tom Wilson is not a repeat offender. His last suspension was over two years ago (October 2018). Find a new slant

The fact that you have to even clarify that tells everyone what they already know.

It was about second after on a real time clip, so it was way late. 0.6 seconds is the rule as far as i know.

What has happened to hockey fans? Holy overreaction in this thread! I'm speechless...

Seriously guys, go watch German hockey if you want to see hockey without physical play and tell me if you like it. To me it has become unwatchable. Overreacting to hits like this that are just a tad late leads to horrible soft hockey.
"There should be no hitting on players who are not eligible to be hit" is not he same thing as "There should be no hitting in hockey".

a little late and appropriate penalty called. if he wasnt admiring his nifty pass/dump and protecting himself knowing notorius super dirty player was on the ice he would be fine. For the haters, if wilson wanted to, he could have really tattooed him there. Didnt Ceci or someone get Wilson back like the next shift after the penalty expired

In the eyes of the NHL it means losing repeat offender status after 18 months without a fine or suspension

Players never lose their suspension histories. Repeat offender status only means that their fines are calculated differently.
When Wilson gets his next megasuspension, his history will be a multiplier.
