Thoughts on rewarding the stanley cup winner with the 16th overall pick?

I like it. It’s a little extra reward for winning the Cup. Getting the first non lottery pick. Usually the draft is a crap shoot from picks 15 to 31 anyways.

First people hated 5v5 OT and half of HF threatened to quit watching hockey

Then people hated the shootouts and half of HF threatened to quit watching hockey

Then people hated the wildcard system and half of HF threatened to quit watching hockey

Then people hated the new draft lottery system and half of HF threatened to quit watching hockey

Then people hated 3v3 hockey and half of HF threatened to quit watching hockey

If you don't like change, then you've come to the wrong place *insert Tyrion gif*...I expect the draft to undergo some sort of change in the next decade
