Been listening to some Trapland Pat lately after hearing Big Business. That song is blowing up a little bit

these Florida rappers are crazy kids man but they put out unique shit. It’s not deep or thought-provoking but they’re fun

Thoughts on the new music that dropped today.

Eminem/Cordae/Jack Harlow's track is solid.

DMX's new album has been a pleasant surprise. Some really cool collabs. He's got Nas and Jay-z on one track. Lil Wayne, Usher, Alicia Keys, Snoop all making appearances.

Juice Wrld's two songs are terrible. Uzi's verse really hurt Lucid Dreams and 734 is not for me.

Killy & 88 glam's projects are not very good.

Jon Connor has shamefully been slept on, in recent years. Easily one of the most consistent rappers out there right now.

Same can be said for Cyhi da Prince.

But Benny the Butcher is bringing back a sound in hip hop I haven't heard since Jay-Z in his prime. Other than Black Thought, Kendrick and Nas to name a few, I can't think of a rapper on his level.

RMR also has grown on me. If it wasn't for covid he would have already blown up. Definitely a unique talent in a copy paste industry.
