I consider Jackson Browne to be a better songwriter than Petty.

Then again, there are only a couple I consider better than Browne.
I always loved the verse line where he brings it down slow in Hold On Hold Out.... "You're a hold out, well I'm a hold out too....."

Terrific writer.

The whole Laurel Canyon scene was a pretty amazing period of music...

Susan, I am certain I was there with you! '87 maybe? It was around that time.

GW (or whatever it's called now) has always been a fun venue for me. Seen lots of good shows there over the years:

Petty, Dylan, Stevie Ray Vaughn, John Mellencamp, Coldplay, Springsteen, Kings of Leon, Elbow, John Hyatt, Greg Allman,

One day I'm going to try and create a list of all the shows I've ever been to. I was a real concert junkie when I was a kid. Would scrimp and save to go to any show I could. Wish I'd saved ticket stubs and all those black concert t-shirts I bought from those early Aerosmith and Kiss shows!!:laugh::laugh:
You were probably there too !

I saw many shows there. Clapton, A. Brothers, Petty, CS&N, Jackson Browne, Sting...and more I cannot think of right now

Pretty good live concert from Australian metal band, Northlane.

I really love the intro song for this. The bass player, who has since left, is fun to watch. He has a lot of energy on stage.

Just heard this on the radio yesterday.

Pretty good guitar player.

I dig this. Makes me want to sit on South Beach in Miami with a cigar under the moonlight.

Weird thing is I swear I recognize that name, but no idea why and think its in my head rather than legit. Is there another artist with a similar name that I’m confusing.
