But you aren't really that overweight anyway, are you? If you weren't incorporating it smoothly into your lifestyle, it was never going to last anyway. The only reason mine worked for so long was that I found a way to be very comfortable (for the most part) with it. I am going to be starting over again here at some point and seeing what I can make work for me here.
I was at 168.5 when I started Sept 3. I am at 161.2 as if today. So have lost just over 7 lbs in 6 weeks. And I am fine with that type of loss....consistently around 1 a week.
I am a short dude, so should be lighter. When I did Insanity 4 years ago for 9 weeks, I went from 169.5 down to 145.5. So I know I have the ability to drop lbs if I work out and eat better. But as of now, have only changed what I am eating. But I don't like that I added almost 25 lbs in 4 years!
And when looking at it, all I have done is cut out all pasta, chips every night to one small bowl 1-2 times a week, no bread except for a wrap I found that has 7 carbs, no fruit, no rice no potato. Pretty much cut out that "side dish" of carbs that I always ate with the meat I usually ate.
But yeah, I didn't really have a ton of weight to lose. I want to get back under 150 and have given myself to X-Mas to do so. Only to gain some of it back over the holidays!
