Somehow I bit the inside of my cheek while chewing and now I can't stop biting it repeatedly.
So weird how shit like that happens.

Side note, I have caved on the keto diet. But instead am committed to a low carb one. Staying under 20 carbs a day is too tough. Some days I do it, others nope. Tonight had a gravy with turkey and corn mixed in it, on top of a slice of bread. God it was good.

But you aren't really that overweight anyway, are you? If you weren't incorporating it smoothly into your lifestyle, it was never going to last anyway. The only reason mine worked for so long was that I found a way to be very comfortable (for the most part) with it. I am going to be starting over again here at some point and seeing what I can make work for me here.

I was at 168.5 when I started Sept 3. I am at 161.2 as if today. So have lost just over 7 lbs in 6 weeks. And I am fine with that type of loss....consistently around 1 a week.

I am a short dude, so should be lighter. When I did Insanity 4 years ago for 9 weeks, I went from 169.5 down to 145.5. So I know I have the ability to drop lbs if I work out and eat better. But as of now, have only changed what I am eating. But I don't like that I added almost 25 lbs in 4 years!

And when looking at it, all I have done is cut out all pasta, chips every night to one small bowl 1-2 times a week, no bread except for a wrap I found that has 7 carbs, no fruit, no rice no potato. Pretty much cut out that "side dish" of carbs that I always ate with the meat I usually ate.

But yeah, I didn't really have a ton of weight to lose. I want to get back under 150 and have given myself to X-Mas to do so. Only to gain some of it back over the holidays!

PSA - making fresh salsa at home is super easy in a food processor and tastes amazing. Also, if you roll your burritos neatly and then set them on a hot plate for a few mins per side (like at a burrito shop), you will never eat a cold roll again.

Okay, so you want to know what really grinds my gears?

When I'm sitting at a bar and looking over their drink menu and notice drink descriptions including "Non-HMO/GMO" or whatever for their vodkas... a large part of me dies.

For those of you who are overly concerned with how potatoes are grown to be distilled into vodka - go f*** yourselves.

Lou would be disappointed to see this thread so low...so bumping it!

What are you all eating?????????

I just had a homemade sub. Black forest ham, roast beef, pastrami plus veggies. The bread really does make the sub!

There is this Mennonite shop out here that has the best ****ing soft bread rolls. The sandwich-crazed Philadelphians on here would love it lol

Went out for lunch at Jack Astor's.

HOLY SMOKE BBQ BURGER

Smoked bacon, American cheese, smoky BBQ sauce, crispy
fried onions, pickled banana peppers, hickory mayo

Had a caeser salad on the side instead of fries. Was surprised when the burger came, and it was a double!!! Had a 2 bites and it was fantastic!!! Then ditched the bread to cut the carbs.
