I don't think it is far fetched at all. its just unbelievable that stamkos would possibly be available. it really looks like his days in tampa are numbered. if he leaves tampa where is he going to go?

Toronto just seems like the obvious choice. out of a possible 29 teams where stamkos could choose, how many have both the cap space + the need for stamkos assuming he would be signing as a center?

It is farfetched. But possible.

Where else is he going to go? How many teams are able to pay him $10+ mil?

We've got the cap space. We're his hometown team. I think there's a very good chance he comes here. I would be very surprised if he ends up someplace else.

There are alot more factors than just cap space and home towns.. I think you're going to be surprised when he re-signs in Tampa or signs with a team who is a contender. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to have Stamkos, but I'd also like to have cap space to re-sign multiple young talents in the next 3-5 years.

babcock makes players better by taken them out of situations they have a higher chance of failing in. Hunwick shift started 15 times in our d-zone, Phaneuf shifts started 8 times in our d-zone last game against st louis, get it?

This is what I have. Anyone on the team currently that you don't see I think will either be traded or released. I also have Desrocher and Donaghey in Orlando to start the season and Bracco back in Kitchener. I have us signing Zaitsev but not Stamkos, Staal or Vesey. Of course, this will be horribly wrong, even a month from now. This is one of those things that's fun to pass the time, but is impossible to 100% get with trades and free agency and such. Never the less, this is my attempt.
