I'm trying to be optimistic that 1) Stamkos will come to toronto and 2) That we can sign him to a resonable deal
Marner and Nylander will be ready for the NHL next year
Holland has been looking good on the wing and our centre depth will be too good for him to have a top 9 spot
Leivo deserves a shot, Brown making the team will really depend on how he returns from his injury this year
Komarov, Winnik and Spaling are good vets to keep around
Ship out Bozak for a 2nd +
Our defense will still be too inexperienced to drop Phaneuf
Ship Polak out at the deadline, Hunwick if we get Zaitsev
Corrado, Harrington, Loov and Percy battle for the 5/6/7 spots
Goaltending is a huge question mark. Ideally you would like to ship out Bernier, sign Reimer to a reasonable short-term deal and promote Sparks to the backup, but I can't see any team wanting to take on Bernier and Reimer and Sparks are both question marks for the # 1 and 2 roles, respectively

cant see any any of shanny,lou, or babs guaranteeing stamkos a position. all 3 want people who will do whats best for the team.

realistically he could play center until marner fills out in a few years but babs wont do something that puts a player above the team imo.

i think stamkos will take his chances and still come to toronto.

Yeah, I don't know about that. Johnson is almost PPG in the SHL and he'll be 22 to start next season. I think he'll be better than every left winger save JVR at camp. I'm guessing he'll force Babcock's hand.

I'm convinced that no one under 26 on the roster is going to get traded unless it's for a player of like the exact same age. Management doesn't want another Edmonton situation here.

It depends where Laine is drafted. I don't see him playing unless we pick him like 2nd or 3rd overall.
