Im fine with this. Bowen Byram, come on down.

I'm wondering if Botts goes for the home run and takes Podkolzin at 7 if he's there..........
That would be new, but with the revamping of the scouting staff, who knows? We do know he and his staff have tended away from the CHL and Russia in limited sample size. It would be unique.
It was our 2nd most likely scenario so I won't complain, thank god 3-9 is mostly a level playing field.
A scenario that shouldn't exist in the first place.
Yeah well whining about it isn't gonna get us anywhere, the difference between 5 and 7 in this particular draft is negligible.
Change comes from people whining. Knowing the way the NHL works though they will just further handicap last place teams/winners..after all their darlings are set anyways.
If anyone wants to join me on Team Caufield there is plenty of room. We will be making T-shirts. Small size only.
Last time in the last 20 years a team traded a top 7 pick for players who can help them now was....never.
I wouldnt say consensus, as 3 onwards is wide open. He's top 4 talent nonethelessIf Podkolzin is there at #7 you take him
He's a consensus #3 pick

Nah, it really doesn’t.#7 needs to be in a package to acquire a young forward with term. I’m not at all interested in bolstering Rochester all the time.
