I think Boston or Philly give him much higher odds of titles than the Lakers, even if you assume the Lakers get Paul George as well.
Its not necessarily about the rings.
If he goes to Boston or Philly, its just going to be the same story as when he left CLE and MIA - the teams were done competiting, he was tired of doing it all himself and is leaving just to go form another big 3 with two other stars.'
If he goes to LA he won't win right away but if they do eventually win, it won't be seen as taking the easy way out. It would be a process thats more rewarding and looks better on him. Its also a special thing to win a championship with/for the Lakers (similar to winning with the Yankees and Cowboys) and follow in the footsteps of some all time greats.
It would also be an amazing business move for him and give him a better chance at looking after his production & entertainment companies, he already lives there in the summer and its a great area for youth basketball.
