I think there's some Russian fellow that might take issue with Hutton taking #10.
(I made that mistake, too.)
Oh derp. I'm a moron. Forgive me. I woke up early this morning.

27 is also 3³, so maybe it's, like, an exponential tribute to Bieksa. He chose #27 and could have easily taken 3 or what not.
#27 is a nice number, I quite like it on him.
If only Edler-Hamhuis can work. Then we can reduce the 3rd pairing minutes down to like 12 minutes.

Yes he was. So were Todd Bertuzzi (before he changed to 44) and, uh, let's see... Shawn Antoski (before he changed to 18), and probably a few other guys.Rather than google it and save myself a post......wasn't Sergio Momesso 27?
Hutton makes the NHL.com early All-Calder team. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=784325&navid=nhl:topheads
Hutton-Parayko would be a pretty nasty pairing.
I have him at #14, does that make me a homer?

There were people on this board saying that McNally is even better than Hutton
which really gets me thinking if he was given the chance, could he have blossomed here.
You look at San Jose, he didn't beat out Tennyson, Demelo or Mirco Mueller.

Still think not signing McNally was a mistake....particularly since we lost Corrado, which further weakens the prospect d-man depth....they'd better find a way to get Tryamkin over here next season.
well yeah. i think everyone intuitively knows its a mistake at this point
at least hutton was signed!
This guy is so ****ing good. He's our 3rd best defenseman, for sure.
