Apply your desires into dynamic actions. Irevocably, open yourself to a revolutionary hockey outlook. Wins with the habs manners. Don't disappoint us again.

Why does Claude Julien insist in making a weak defensive group even weaker by playing BOTH Folin and Reilly over Kulak and Fleury not for a single game but for two games in a row?

As CJ said, he had other fish to fry :D
Kulak is our 4th or 5th best D-man, so that was ridiculous.

He's being dragged down by Fleury who might not be ready for full-time duty after being a 3rd round pick and getting one AHL year.

Folin is ok with me for 12 minutes per game whenever Fleury looks lost. Hopefully either Olofsson or Juulsen is ready soon, both should be ahead of Fleury if healthy.

Yeah Kulak has Fleury dragging him down from the press box.

Yeh. We could see Juulsen in a near future if everything stays fine with him.

What sucks is that he won't get the blame because on paper, this roster isn't that good. I don't think he will be going anywhere anytime soon.

Unfortunately, firing him would be admitting to another mistake so I doubt Bergevin goes that route as it could also mean the end of his tenure as GM.

This line has been repeated so many times by so many posters for so many prospects...
Cant you guys be a bit more original?

Want to compare how the other high picks from 2018 are doing in terms of opportunity? I can assure you Svechnikov, Tkachuk and Dahlin aren't on the bottom lines/pairing...

We have a history of doing the wrong thing with prospects (there are exceptions), why shouldn't we be concerned about our old school boys club mentality?

Do you think its a coincidence that that line has been repeated so many times ?
Svech is playing 17 minutes a night
Tkachuk is playing 19 a night
Hughes (Q) is playing 20 a night
Dahlin is playing 20 a night
Dobson is playing 16 a night
Fehervary is playing 14;30 a night
Heinola is playing 19 a night
Hughes (J) is playing 15:30 a night
Kakko is playing 15:30 a night
Heiskanen is playing 25 minutes a night
Makar is playing 20 a night
Hischier is playing 19 a night
Pettersson is playing 18:30 a night
Jokihraju is playing 17:30 a night
Ferraro is playing 16:30 a night
Texier is playing 16 minutes a night
Cody Glass is playing 15 minutes a night

And to be honest, Jack and Kakko are the only two who are even close to struggling. What the hell man? Do you truly believe that the third overall pick in the 2018 draft is less deserving than these guys ? Do the Habs have a team that is too good for him to get ice-time? Heck, Glass is playing ahead of a forty goal scorer.

Why is it spamming or a bad joke, its almost certainly going to be his lot in life for his first and maybe second year on the Habs, especially if his play in the defensive zone is just okay.

His defensive metrics are some of the best on the team. Any illusions of his defensive play being bad is simply bad rationalization for underwhelming coaching.

Could be Montreal culture. In the Dark Ages of Houle's reign, when we were a disaster of a team usually, young guy, prospects couldnt get time up with the big team. It's like we were the Dynasty Team. Julien would be that kind of guy in how youngsters play.

Nailed it, there's this myth of what the Canadiens are supposed to live up to and rather than give the young kids lots of chances to learn, fail, grow in positions to succeed they are passed over at first sign of adversity in favour of low risk/low reward vets that won't 'embarrass' the legacy but won't push us past mediocrity
