With my dumb fascination for players from outside the big countries I've taken a shine to Marco Rossi from Austria.
Stuetzle is 6'1 I thought he was smaller for some reason, very enticing although he likely won't be there for us

A forward... but maybe in February next year as opposed to June. What do you guys think the Avs need most with their first rounder next year?

Yeah....we're not getting him.
I know it's a joke - and I had a good laugh at this post - but even if Dorion is a pretty crappy GM, one thing he and his staff is good at, it's scouting.
Dorion: And you're sure this Jost kid grew up a Senators fan?
Sakic: Yeah sure why not

I've honestly felt bad for him at pressers. He seems like a really nice and smart guy, but then he has to spin the Ottawa situation like he's about to cry.I don't even think he's a crappy GM. He has a crappy boss who makes him do crappy thing.

Yes!When Melnyk inevitably throws him under the bus, I'd gladly take him in the Avs scouting department.
He also repeats reporters' questions (English or French) into the mic in English. Thanks, Pierre! Two years ago RDS (French TSN) had a story on Dorion and they showed what was a typical day for him. He's doing for the Sens what other teams hire 3 or 4 people to do (thanks to cheap ownership). He wears a LOT of hats and genuinely seems like a good person. I stopped mocking him after watching that.
Some crazy stuff:
Lafrenière's line has 58 pts in 9 games. Nothing like that elsewhere in the CHL.
Like Byram, Lafreniere should've went the Matthews route. Don't get me wrong he should be just fine because he is NOT Nolan Patrick in regards to jumping early in juniors and stagnating over time. However, he is simply too good for CHL defenders and especially junior goalers where I don't think he will fully develop to his maximum potential for this season.
Also I can't find the link because I am on my phone, but supposedly the NHL has a podcast introducing the 2020 draft if any of you lot want to cheque it out.
Yes, not sure if it's any good though.
Deutschland has one hell of a draft class.Stutzle may end up top 5... got damn he's good.

Don't want to toot my own horn, but I did call him a top 10 prospect last year when he wasn't on anybody's radar.I watched Antonio Stranges live last night and holy ****, I've never been so mindblown watching someone skate
