Houston is finalizing a deal to send Omer Asik to New Orleans, league source tells Yahoo Sports.

If i had to guess: Sacramento sends their pick to the Celtics for Rondo, which leads to Boston flipping the 6th, 8th and possibly other stuff to Cleveland for the #1.

Cleveland wants Embiid, they trade down to get him with the + of another top 10 pick. Boston then gets a potential game changer in Wiggins/Parker/Randle?

Also that Asik deal...you can hear the gears of every big market team turning as they get ready to make a run at LeBron and Carmelo. Houston gets one, Cleveland gets the other imo.

seems way too complicated, but I like the end result just fine. It would be a treat to watch a very talented young team, and see what Stevens could do with them in the next few years.

I feel like no big trades are going to happen. In terms of players, anyone but Gordon at 6. And later in the draft (whether it's 17 or some other pick we get), I like James Young, Tyler Ennis (if a Rondo trade is even a possibility) and Glenn Robinson. I know they're all big names, but I like those 3.

Expecting to be disappointed though.

That said, I'm not sure how I feel about the Celtics taking him if he falls to 6.
