Penguins went then on to win 2 cups back to back. Not the worst team to be compared to.

Just need to draft a Jagr #5 OA in this draft.

Conversely the Nordiques went on to first first overall three years in a row and wouldn't make the playoffs until 1993.

When Drai centers a line, his main linemate is Tobias Reider who has 0 goals this season.

He set a record for most shots without a goal.

Do you find it odd that a player who is being touted as a top offensive player in the league is unable to get him a simple tap in at some point of the course of the season?

McDavid and Draisitl are always a threat when they are on the ice. I mean seriously.

But whenever they are off the ice, it is like the Oilers are a different team when they are off the ice.
Maybe they should play on different lines then...

McDavid has been a threat every time he has touched the ice since he entered the league. He even manages to make Kassian look like a top 6 winger a couple of shifts a game.

We are all eagerly awaiting your third dig at Draisaitl in this thread!

What comment did you have an issue with? Do you disagree that Edmonton has only one capable scoring line?

Perhaps the issue is that an elite offensive centre could help elevate the play of his wingers?

Literally the game plan against the Oilers is to load up against McDavid and hope they don't score. Then, once he's gone, it's smooth sailing.

This is why the Oilers are bad. And we're at the cap to boot with some of our best players on arguably "value" level contracts.... It's embarrassing.

You are under some misunderstanding that Crosby played with elite Ws most of his career

There’s 10,000 miles of shit between “Crosby’s wingers over time” and “the spare garbage that McDavid/Drai get stuck with”.

What part of “Toby Rieder has 0 goals and noted fourth liner Alex Chiasson is the Oilers best winger” is overly difficult?
