Stamkos’ TOI this series:

14:49
16:00
19:16
13:43
13:08

If it is by design and not injury then I'd say it's been brilliant on the coaching side. Everyone looks sharp and guys are making an impact when they come on the ice which makes it look like they've been out there more than they have. You wouldn't be able to tell Johnson/Colton only played 7 mins and Stamkos at 13mins, they were all noticable.

The Gourde line seems heavily leaned on at ES.

The luxury of having four lines

I hope its not injury related. We also didn't get as many PP's last game.

Honestly, having Stamkos back for PP's alone is worth it. With him and Kuch on their sides we are the deadliest PP in the league, imo. If he can continue to wrack up those points I'll be happy. I don't expect him to produce as much 5 on 5.

Hope he's okay though. Most likely game management by Coop, knowing who needs to be out and who's rolling

As long as Stamkos is putting shots on net and not committing defensive errors, he's fine in my books. I think he's been playing good though

Hasn't had any costly turnovers, still requires respect from other teams blue lines based of his superstar status. Can still be dangerous and score. PP points.

Yeup, I have 0 complaints. Captain is doing great!

Yeah, he's not the best defensively but he's doing good on both sides of the ice. Teams can't give him space still, that shot is too deadly to play around with.

Would love to see him be more incisive 5 on 5 in terms of creating chances, and he really gotta clean up the passing fumbles and turnovers on the powerplay IMO.

Overall positive for sure, but he's not even close to playing at full potential... yet.

It's been a few years since that version of Stamkos was even a thing, really. He's a guy you never really have to worry about now.

Those turnovers on the PP lately have him looking like 2016 Stamkos. If we can get the 2018-20 one soon that'd be great.

His defensive game isn't an issue right now though, nobody on the team is floating.

His game looks off. He shooting isn't as good and neither is his skating. HF insiders are saying he is injured and will be getting a cap circumvention surgery along with Hedman. The bolts will sign one star fa on a 1 year da and this will force the nhl to close this loophole they made and many teams use every year.

Except there's no way he'll be gone for all 82 games and back for game 1. We got lucky with Kuch because it was a shortened season.

It's a joke son relax.. just cracking at the all HF users claim we cheated yet numerous playoff and non playoff teams use ltir to go over the cap. The leafs did it and lost in the 1st.

Is Stammer done? His ice time is down, his level of play is down. He can do some damage on the PP but 5v5 he seems to be invisible out there. Either he's injured, has lost all confidence, or perhaps the end of his career is closer than I thought.

He's never been a factor in the playoffs, which is crazy. Looks slow, could really use some production from him right about now

He's gotten some opportunistic goals and some secondary assists. I think he's around a PPG these playoffs.

Which frankly is just because he's on our PP. Dude has been very not good. Just is what it is at this point.

Yeah we should just be happy he looks good in the raw stats at least. And outside that turnover in Game 1 he hasn't had any huge gaffes.

Right, he's regressed to a PP specialist. He did have a pretty good game last night I must admit

His skating kills me. He has the turning radius of an 18 wheeler. He just loops around and around. Totally takes himself out of plays by doing so. Not sure if that's cause he's injured but he's done this in the past. No stops and starts in his game. Barely gets open, defers his shots for stupid passes and loses probably 90% Of his board battles. If he was not Steven Stamkos, former 60 goal scorer, Johnson would be playing in his spot. He's doing nothing 5v5 and on the powerplay he's sending every shot attempt into orbit. I just shake my head when the guy misses a shot, passes it into a stick or loses a board battle. So damn frustrating to watch.

Might still be hurt?

He's still dangerous on the ice because one clean shot and he'll beat you, but I think Coop might have to tweak some of the lines a bit.

He's still lethal on the PP, he still commands the respect of other teams players off name alone.

I thought he played fine in the Florida and Carolina series.
