He looks the exact same as before he was injured, people just downplayed him because we won without him. He was 9th in league scoring 2 years ago and was in the top 10 before his injury last season. Stamkos has been playing at the level of a top-10 forward for the last 200 games and people are surprised he looks good? Give your head a shake.

You'd think by now people would know that this is deep and the loss of any player can be mitaged by others stepping up, including Hedman, that doesn't mean they're any less impactful, the workload on this team is easier to cover because we have more talent than most teams in the league.

For me its never been about his play on the ice because that hasn't changed and even after his last injury didn't change. My doubt has been in whether or not he stays healthy. Knock on wood he can remain relatively healthy for the remainder of his career.

when he talks about his all time lineup, it makes me wonder what top line would win going off of Stanley Cup season, Stamkos-Point-Kuch or Richards-Lecavalier-St.Louis and if you feel really crazy you could even go defense and goalie Hedman-?, Boyle-Kubina, Khabibulin or Vasy

Hedman-Stralman? Strals was the perfect fit with Heddy.
Hedman - McD? Some people don't like him but man he's been such an important part of our blue line these past few years and was absolutely lights out in the playoffs.
Hedman - Serg? Probably too young at the moment
Hedman - Sustr.. Kill me now
Hedman - Ohlund? Hedman claims he learned a lot from Ohlund in his short time with the Bolts

crazy how stamkos is usually a massive offensive impact player without being much of a play driver (off of pure shooting and playmaking talent alone) but to start this year he's actually driving play

if he can keep that up and keep his normal shooting/playmaking stuff he's gonna push for the art ross lol, fingers crossed tho we'll see

Needs 1 goal to tie Pavel Bure & Rick Nash (both at 437 goals) for 70th on the NHL's all time goal scoring list.

14 more goals to tie Doug Gilmour for the 450 goal milestone and reach 60th all time.
Hopefully, he can do it this year. He also needs 3 more game-winning goals to become the franchise leader in game-winning goals.

Stamkos should be able to crack the top 50, probably top 40 when all is said and done.

The panthers board says they aren't worried about stamkos. He played one playoff game last season and scored on his first shot. Who knows if he will be able to play, but if he can I think they will learn to worry real quick.

Not to mention Stammer has more career goals and points against Florida than any other team he's faced.
