Does anybody new draw in for game 2?

I would certainly give Merrill or Hunt a look in favor of Sbisa, probably Merrill as he's played more recently. Lots of pressure to get up to game speed but Sbisa hasn't been game speed actually playing in games.

Don't think any forward changes are screaming out to me. 1st and 4th lines are untouched obviously.

The only one who has even a small chance of being dropped would be Carpenter, if they wanted Tatar in or something, but they probably go with the same players but Perron starts on the Haula line instead of Tuch.

I wouldn't mind seeing Carrier take Carps spot and seeing how he does. Carp does seem to be the classic grinder type that is a step or two too slow, but hits ok and when the puck is in his range, it's really hard to knock him off which does help wearing down the other team. But I'd like to see Carrier just because I want to see him lay into some Caps. Carp used up all his goals in the regular season.

Anyone else get the feeling that while Tuch has a lot of potential, that if anyone on VGK could catch the Vegas flu, it would be him? Ok I've heard stories about him liking the club life and being a young single guy on a team that everyone is crazy about seems like he could have many bad games due to weak leg syndrome. I'm not going to lie. If I was in his shoes, I'd find temptation hard to pass up. While we don't have any young rookies, I wonder if the team has a designated vet player, let's say Engelland that would have a rookie living with him for his first year. Most teams still do this right? I've also read that Theodore and Tuch used to live at the red rock casino until they got word that they wouldn't be sent down and got a house together. ST has a gf (which is why he gets the master bedroom) according the vgk video that did a cribs type of visit. Wild Bill is dating a blonde twin instagram model too. With multiple potential top prospects possibly cracking the roster next year or the year after, I hope the practice of a rookie living with a veteran player and his family will happen here. Especially if they are under 21. Or maybe being 21 has too many more temptations in this town.

WRT ice, who thought the team would be playing into June? Installing new plant takes a couple of years of planning as you probably need to have schedule clear to do the work. Humidity is not an issue, it's heat. Practice facility kept at 40F. Might need to figure out way to keep I've area (air) cooler.

Merrill was a penalty machine his last time on the ice. I'd be nervous giving the caps copious pp chances. Hunt has fresh legs....

Turk doesn’t change lines after wins. I don’t imagine we’ll see anything different.

We regards to the ice: Game 1 was the first crappy ice game we’ve had this season. I’d imagine it’s more about leaving doors open or having people in the arena for longer than it is needing new machinery. Find out the difference between game 1 and the fifty plus other games this season and address that, I don’t think it was just the weather.

Holy f***.

I’m mobile-only at the wrong time of the year.

Who’s got the good GDT record and time right now? My record is weak.

I once wrote that I'd be pretty happy with the caps winning the cup. I now understand why Pens fans can't stand the team, and I've changed my stance. Obnoxiousness + Sense of Entitlement + Willful Ignorance of Hockey = Horrible Fan Base. I hope VGK curb stomps their team.
