The cost to buy him out isn't that bad, it's just the principle of doing so. DA hasn't shown any kind of willingness to do it to date.

Its frustrating because it feels like the sky is the limit for Vladi. No one doubts he's capable of being a 50 goal PPG+ guy....he just doesnt reach that level. This year he had his surgery that held him back.
