come on. Any future hall of Famer signing a contract should be thread worthy.

I agree.

But he hasn't signed any contract. But that's not even the issue, the issue is that people thinking the signing of a 41 year old forward is not work of genius is the issue. I think being sceptical of this potential move is a pretty reasonable response and pretending people being critical of the move is a "Leaf bias" is such a tired reaction.

If true the Leafs bottom 6 will be old as dust and slow

Kerfoot - Thornton - Simmonds
Vesey - Spezza - Engvall

I'm not the one complaining about the direction of the thread, and I'm here discussing it with all fans.
Are you new to hockey? A future HOFer potentially signing with his hometown team to close out his career is beyond thread worthy lol

Looking at that list of a bottom 6 Kerfoot Vesey Engvall are not slow and not sure why Spezza is included as slow. Spezza isn't the fastest guy buy he's not slow.

Well to be fair, the Stars made the finals with a bottom 6 of Cogliano (3 goals), Comeau (6th team), Dickinson (who?), Janmark (dime a dozen) and Perry (washed).

I mean, I know the Leafs bottom 6 isn't jaw dropping or anything but its certainly comparable to this tire fire that just went deep.

Why not just say "I didn't watch any of the playoffs" instead of posting this nonsense?

Why? Lol.

Where is the space? Both players and cap.

What does he bring?

Why would he leave SJ? There’s far better options if he’s so desperate for a cup. Just ask Marleau how that turned out going to TML.

According to Friedman several Leafs players have reached out to Joe.

I'm not particularly interested but if the players want him there it certainly wouldn't hurt to have him in the room at near league minimum.

Doesn't Spezza already fill the exact same role ? Old fourth liner center who can bring some offense and play on the 2nd PP unit but is a defensive liability . Why both ?

Also who are the Leafs PK forwards . That bottom six has like 2
