Yeah I dont think a franchise center is anywhere close to coming. Maybe Shane Wright in 2022 but the sharks would actually need to win the lottery for that

That's the thing, you get 1-3 a year, and getting them outside a top 2 pick is pretty unlikely. Pettersen, Matthews, Eichel, and McDavid in the past 5 years. I'd certainly settle for a top 15-25 level center with a mid-1st. We could certainly use another Hertl

Alternative is to consistently convert on good drafts and use those players as trade currency for a franchise center.

Both him and Dahlen will probably get the chance to play in the NHL after their europe seasons this year, so it will be interesting to see if that happens.

It's pretty absurd how many more shots Bordeleau has generated compared to his teammates, especially at even strength. Brisson's the next guy on the list but part of it is a wild outlier against ASU where he had 11 PP shots.

Couple things I noticed from Bordeleau tonight. Him and Brisson have a lot of chemistry for guys drafted to rivals. Also hes not that great at face offs even though hes supposed to be a specialist, hes lost a lot of them.

Yea, his faceoff numbers haven't been very good but also it mostly doesn't matter.

Thats true, I feel like he might not stay a center, but Michigan has kept him there so we will see.
