I haven't been this on board with a Sharks goalie prospect since Tyson Sexsmith, who I thought had a lot of potential. I really hope Emond doesn't go the way of Sexsmith. I'm really hoping that Team Canada has been watching him for the World Juniors. I know there's at least Olivier Rodrigue who is certainly in contention, so they're not blind to the Q
Looks like they counted Dahlen's shootout goal as a goal as well, came in that game with 7, left with 10. Not that I'm complaining, but I've never seen that before.
He's leading the team in shot attempt generation again. It doesn't mean as much now that he's older but he hasn't fallen off either, even with Makar and Ferraro leaving. So I think it's fair to feel positively about him. He’s looked absolutely dominant on the ice this season. We may have another late round NHLer. He’s looked like one of the best players in college through the first few weekes of the season.
Im afraid that he doesnt get signed and leaves for FA in two yearsHe’s looked absolutely dominant on the ice this season. We may have another late round NHLer. He’s looked like one of the best players in college through the first few weekes of the season.

Good to see some positive prospect news.
Anyone have a scouting report on this one??
Merks with an assist and +2 in the OHL 4-1 win over Russia.
Merks is now 16 points (2g, 14a) in 12 games with a +1 rating.
but is he doing it all while being an irredeemable human monster?!
