Empoli leading 1-0 at half time against Sassuolo, after striking the post twice as well. Great solo goal by Cambiaghi who is for me by far the best offensive option on Empoli. Unfortunately Zanetti doesn't agree as he's had the fourth most minutes by any strikers on the team.

Well, it took over an hour for Napoli to score, but Oliveira's header from a corner looks like securing the title party for tonight. 20 minutes left in the match.

Edit: Well, not so fast as Boulaye Dia equalizes on 84th minute, continuing his good season with his 12th league goal.

Pinamonti gets dismissed for cursing at the referee (should happen more often tbh) but still local hero Berardi gets Sassuolo even with a wonderful strike. He's just back from injury but keeps being one of my favourite players to watch.

Berardi gets a penalty in the last minute of overtime and proceeds to score it to get the 3 points for 10 men Sassuolo. Honestly Empoli should look at firing Zanetti, he's not good enough for Serie A.

Orsolini PK puts Bologna ahead of Juventus after only 10 mins. Good for other clubs fighting for CL spots.

Edit: Lol at Milik missing Jorginho-style weak hopping PK after half an hour. He won the PK himself after going down inside the area from a slight touch. (Edit: I missed his foot was stepped on, so legit PK). So Juve are still trailing.

Paredes first league goal of the season puts Juve ahead against Lecce. It was a low hard free kick into bottom left corner.

If the result stands, for now Juve would be up to 2nd in the table ahead of Lazio.

Edit: Night of first goals, as Faglioli chips a nice ball over the defence for Miretti to score his first goal for Juve. But it is ruled out for offside.

Edit2: After Lecce drew level with a Ceesay penalty (given for Danilo's handball), Juve retake the lead just few minutes before the half-time. Vlahovic with a nice volley, scoring his first goal in eleven matches.

Cremonese aren't the strongest of opponent's, but still quite a bit of rotaton for Milan. Vranckx, De Ketelaere and Origi are all starting.

Edit: Some ease to tensions as Saelemakers scores 10 mins into match. Nope, offside.

Edit2: It looked like only a matter of time before Inter scores, with Verona keeper saving several point blank opportunities. But even he couldn't stop an own goal diving header into bottom corner. And soon after it's already 2-0 for Inter with a long range shot into top corner. And minute later 3-0, Dzeko scoring.

Milan really needs to win to keep in touch for the CL places.

Milan are done, unless they miraculously win the CL, as Okereke fools both CBs Thiaw and Kalulu and puts Cremonese ahead 1-0 with just over 10 minutes remaining.

Edit: Milan's equalizer doesn't help them much, but then Cremonense's Pickel gets sent off by clearly and forcefully punching Tonali into face. But Milan couldn't find another goal during the added 10 minutes.

Don't remember ever seeing something like what happened with VAR in Lazio - Sassuolo match. Immobile put the ball into net, but the passer seemed to be clearly offside by several meters. And ref Irrati immediately ruled the goal offside.

Then apparently VAR ref somehow considered it wasn't offside and after a few minutes pause Irrati pointed to the centre circle indicating that a goal had indeed being scored. It was hard to believe it wasn't offside, but maybe the camera angles had been very bad. Lazio players celebrated the goal for a few minutes more.

Then as Sassuolo was about to restart the match, Irrati pointed to his earpiece that he was listening to something and prevented resuming the match.

And indeed, he then ruled that it had been offside after all and his initial judgement had been correct, and the match continued with a Sassuolo freekick. Maybe Irrati just misheard what the VAR ref had said and that caused the confusion.

In the end it didn't matter as Lazio scored two goals and won the match, thus postponing Napoli's title celebrations until tomorrow at least.

Napoli's title celebrations to be delayed further? Lovric puts Udinese ahead with a nice placed shot into top right corner.

Empoli 2-0 up at half time against Bologna, who've been very unlucky, scoring an own goal inside 40 seconds, then having 2 goals called off for offensive handballs. If this result stays like this Empoli go 8 points ahead of the relegation zone with 5 games left to play.
