Can't have much better start to your debut as Simone Verdi scores two beauties, especially the latter free kick was perfect. With the new acquisitions Salernitana suddenly look competent. They seemed doomed to go down, but looks like they might put up a fight after all.

Verdi has always had talent and technique, you could see it already when he started his career in Milan, but size and consistency have been his issues, although he did have two good seasons with Bologna.

Fazio and Lys Mousset less so, as they both cause penalties within the first 30 minutes of their debuts.

Yep, Salernitana has looked a different team since the winter transfer window. Of course they have a critical match against Cagliari still to come, but theirs looks to come one of the biggest escape campaigns.
