What format is it? Standard?

I only play EDH/Commander these days and the ocassional draft (speaking of which, the newest set, Conspiracy, is one of the best things WotC have released in a long time as long as you like multiplayer games!)

Standard, yep. I've also got an (admittedly weak) red legacy deck that also never gets any use. Used to do the pre-releases and the FNM sessions at Algonquin, but haven't been recently. Something about it just rubbed me the wrong way.

It's too bad that playing at a store in Ottawa is such a mixed bag

Generally speaking the people are very nice but the nerdness is overwhelming

Yeah i started playing Magic a few years ago as a younger cousin was into it.. I actually liked it and started playing the Duels of the planeswalker games on Xbox.

Don't have any paper though as I don't really have anyone to play with.. LOL

Think I did good. They mark the stupidest way now/starting next year though. Startig next year they mark tests based on levels (1-4) and not out of whatever the sum of what the questions are worth.

Idk, I don't think they did last year cause I remember getting a 76 on the first one and a 92 on the second one or something like that.

Wouldn't halfway done have been when you finished the first semester?

I don't have any exams until Monday and Tuesday which kind of sucks. Wish I could get them over with sooner and just get on with summer.

I think the current system is that your overall mark on a test is rated 1-4 but each question is still rated with individual marks (i.e. a question is worth 5 marks, you can earn 0 - 5 marks on that question)

And then he's saying that with the new system each individual question will be rated from levels 1-4.

I don't know if that made any sense.
