Sami Niku, invisible.

He had several excellent stick checks in the offensive and defensive zones that generated scoring chances. Also excellent at getting pucks out of his zone, he was rarely hemmed in. He was really good tonight, not flashy, just very solid.

Sens dominated the play. Brossoit kept them in it and made ridiculous saves. Nilsson was good too for most part and made point blank cross crease save on Wheeler with few mins left. Peg took a bunch of penalties including 2 double minors and a 5on3. We hit like 2-3 posts, they had 21 shots halfway through 3rd period pretty sure. We played very good, just 2 massive PP blunders.

Tough to stay interested when the games didn't matter from day 1, no tank reward in tow, and the only intriguing story of the season had to wait till the deadline.

The organization probably wishes they could have skipped this season and just got going on a real tank season in 2019-20.

Missed the game as well. This thread is a tough read for sure. I hope Ottawa can get back to winning ASAP because when the team is losing it's tough to have a rational conversation.
