Maybe we'll get lucky, and no other teams will show up for our games to end the season. That way, we would win without having to play.

This might be the worst day in Sens history.

Losing to New Jersey with this lineup, it’s a disgrace to a once proud and best middleweight team in the NHL.

Melnyck said for years that you could win by spending less money, last winter he turned it on the fans and said he couldn’t ice a competitive team without the fans showing up.

Blaming the fans for what’s happening tonight, disgraceful.

Does anyone else recall when the reports came out that the Sens org (ie Melnyk) was enamored with the new "Vegas model" ?

#1. lol that he's dumb enough to think that's an actual thing, instead of the insanely tilted gift wrapped expansion draft that gave Vegas like 4 lines full of 2nd liners for their first year + completely unrepeatable set of circumstances / chemistry and luck for that season.

#2. This suggests he legit thinks they see things that noone else can and they can somehow Moneyball the NHL.

#3. FYOUSSSSS

No he explained without fan support there isn’t enough money to spend. That isn’t blame it’s simple math.
If I don’t sell 20 cars I can’t go to Vegas this year. It’s a statement not a blame, why is it so hard to understand?
