Try the Senate Chamber, McLaren's on Elgin, or even the James Street Pub on Bank.

been to james st and mclarens...food did not do it for me. I am a chef so I can be a bit picky. I will give the senate a try though. thanks.

I usually go to Chez Lucien if I want a bite and watch the game but it isn't a sport bar: if you want to be able to watch you need to go there early to get a seat at the bar (might not be great if you're looking to go with a big group of people) and the place is usually filled with Habs fans (oh how I enjoyed being there last time we played the Habs!!)

The food is really good though
