Assuming the worst possible outcome and Detroit wins ,if the Bruins defeat the Wings tomorrow what has to happen for the Bruins to get in ? Beat Ottawa and Detroit loses , what if the Wings win and we end up tied ?

First tiebreaker (after games played) is ROW. Detroit is already ahead on that so they'd get in.

As long as someone loses in regulation the Bruins are still in good shape if they win both of their games.

Philly would need to go 2-0-1 or better in their final 3 games to get in. Detroit would also need to beat the Rangers in that scenario.

A PHI loss still means that the bruins could make the last WC spot. A regulation win by DET is only the second worse outcome

Technically I suppose. But it would be a slaughterfest against the Capitals.
Philadelphia plays the Leafs, Penguins and Islanders. If we win our next two and they go 2-1, we get in.
