It's crazy that we're just 24 hours away from the season being over. There's a weird finality to it when it's a Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Final. There's a certainty to it that you don't get with anything else.
The nerves haven't hit me yet, but I'm sure getting through the work day tomorrow will be torture. I imagine there are quite a few players lying in their beds right now who are too nervous/excited to sleep. I think we probably overstate experience in the playoffs and having won a Stanley Cup before, but I think the one time it comes into play is Game 7 of the Stanley Cup. It's been 8 years, but the Bruins have 4 players who played prominent roles in the last Stanley Cup Final Game 7. I think their leadership will shine through. They know what it takes to win, and they know what it feels like to lose and watch another team lift the Cup on your home ice. That's a feeling that no one wants to experience twice in their life.
