Got MLB Network on right now as I’m cleaning the TV room and Craig Berube is at Cardinals-Cubs game. They interviewed him says they went to rink this morning and baseball game after - cited friends from Canada wanting to go to Cubs/Cardinals game as well as getting away for few hours

Surprised to look up and see him on TV had to rewind and realize why he was there

Blues' lack of discipline 'a major problem' vs. Bruins power play - Sportsnet.ca

"After riding a six-minute adrenalin wave, during which the home club limited the enemy to zero shots, St. Louis was coldly reminded of one of life’s three harshest inevitabilities.

Death, taxes and the Boston Bruins’ power play: They’ll all get you."

~ Luke Fox (Sportsnet)

Just shows how there is basically no such thing as momentum game to game. Did not expect that blood letting although Maroon’s on ice quip about leadership that was publicized was a major idiot like move. You could see Bergeron after that first goal more pumped then I’ve seen him maybe ever.

Chara was focused. Rask.

2 more wins please. Please!

This Bruins team is reminding me of the Western Conference Red Wings. Not that I'm expecting that kind of dynasty... It's likely a one-year thing. But I remember when Detroit went up against Anaheim in the Conference Finals one year and everyone was saying that the Ducks would dominate them physically. All the Wings did was adjust and match them in that department, despite not having the traditional personnel group. They had been there/done that and wouldn't be "had" by another club's identity.

The Bruins seem to be able to paper other teams' rock (or whatever is needed). It's been so much fun to watch.

Yeah the fact his team can’t score on the power play is the refs fault.Lol

They have one PP goal and it's a shot that would have been well wide of the net if Carlo hadn't deflected it into his own net. That's the problem Berube, not the refs. Nobody ever accused this guy of being a brain surgeon so there's that.

Also how those later Red Wing teams were too old to win. Datsyuk and Zetterberg were around the same age as Bergeron and Krejci. Krug is playing like Rafalski. Chara the captain and legendary defenseman like Lidstrom. Plus the bottom 6 really steps up when they need it. I loved those Red Wing teams.

Those were entertaining teams in Detroit. They had a long drought of mediocre to average teams before that. Then they had to learn how to win in the playoffs, suffering some disappointing losses. Eventually they put it all together and had a nice long run of superiority, with a good share of cups.

Patrick Moron calling out the Bruins leadership is like Olive Oil Criticizing Kate Upton’s breast’s for lack of size.

Schenn and Edmundson actually bother me more then Maroon - he just seems like a dummy

Part of my conversation with Haggs on Twitter:

This is regarding a poster here using the Perfection Line moniker before Haggs. Love how he tries to pretend he doesn’t read these boards still. The conversation goes on a bit longer than what I quoted.

Why do we need agenda driven sports media anyway ? Mostly a bunch of clown shoe fanboys that sucked at sports growing up. As an example has fat Haggs EVER scooped anyone or anything other than a keg of ice cream ?
