The Saudi league also has to be better than the MLS because that way it means Ronaldo is still at the top and Messi is just washed and going to a mediocre league.
I mean, context... It was 0-0, all the core player were taken off and Al Nassr then got a red card.

I don't think he's wrong that the Saudi money hurts the level of European football. It's not by enough that anyone should take the statement too seriously, but some of the players going from the top European teams to Saudi are still very good players that are a loss for European football.
