I perused your photo and noticed a complete dearth of bourbon. I was all set to protest then I thought - perhaps MSE - a fellow conniseur of fine spirits such as Bulleit - did this intentionally. A crappy win is like a full bar with no bourbon.

Well played

No ketchup either, Beefy's favorite.

Yet people want to trade coburn..

I am one of the few that like him to stay on the team, but not a fan of B Schenn but the fight last night and goal tonight will help have a little more patience for him.

Couts was great tonight and Hartnell saved the game with the slide at the side of the net and drawing a penalty with the empty net. We got the bounces tonight.

at this point a win is a win-i think emery was fortunate on a couple of chances, and why would he go fishing for the puck OUT of his net in the last minute?but overall i thought he was good.main thing WAY LESS turnovers than last night!!!

Odd stat: Official scorers did not charge Flyers with a single giveaway tonight.

I find this hard to believe...

My player ratings from tonight's game (based on player value in game, 10 = best game ever, 1 = worst game ever, 5+ = net positive contribution, 5- = net negative contribution)

Hartnell (6.0) Giroux (5.5) Voracek (5.5)

McGinn (4.5) Schenn (6.5) Simmonds (4.5)

Raffl (6.0) Couturier (8.0) Read (3.5)

Rinaldo (-) Hall (6.5) Rosehill (-)

Coburn (7.0) Meszaros (4.5)

Timonen (7.0) Gill (4.0)

Streit (5.5) Grossmann (5.0)

Emery (7.5) shutout but really didn't need to do much

Radio mentioned this early in the third period. It is a subjective stat but both Therien and Saunders dismissed the number as an error. We will see if it changes, perhaps there was a technical issue or a shortage of off-ice officials.

I don't see the point of playing Gill over Schenn. Kimmo has been the worst defenseman this season.

The lack of offense is beyond ridiculous at this point.

Why do people ***** about B.Schenn when he is tied for the team lead in scoring, is on pace for the same points as JVR in his 3rd year. We are so friggen impatient!

Only saw the third period. From what I saw...

- Couturier was awesome. He dominated a couple pks.
- Coburn had at least 3 shots actually make it through. Nice change of pace from him
- Maybe 28 will score sometime

Couturier was the best forward, but that's all I got. A win is a win though.

Enjoying a fine helping of Buffalo Trace on the rocks to celebrate/forget this one.
