Remember last year? Flint had a TON of injuries and Ryan Ouhlahen coaching. Sound familiar? Now, I got no particular beef with Derian. I liked him as a player, he’s a Michigan boy and all...but he sucks as a coach and if there’s a bigger bench whiner in the O, I don’t think I’ve seen it. You guys lose grade A studs in McGregor and Josling but if Hatcher steps down, you guys stay healthy and get another 1 or 2 of those 8 to happen you should be good to go. I’m not saying MC appearance but pretty damn good. When the Sting were firing on all cylinders for that little stretch, they were scary. A good coach would have had that happening most nights and some semblance of D being played. Wellwood has done wonders for that in Flint. Still a ways to though. Oh, and uhm... it’s “our team” not “are team”.

This is an absolute dumpster fire in the last two months. Overvalued players at the deadline and delusional about our current rosters ability to compete. Rees deciding big hits are more important than being in games. Our defense still hasn’t learned any systems. Every night there is new line combinations. Our goalies have to stop 10-15 grade A scoring chances a night.

Anywhere, in any league whether it be pro or semi pro, the coach is fired. I’m sure some of the blame can be placed on the GM, but clearly with some coaching this team is capable of winning games and they proved that going 11/12 in oct/nov.

I would really like to see some Fire Hatcher signs at the next game I go to, but I feel like the better way to show my displeasure is not buying a ticket in the first place. Should have kept Letowski... damn it.

Not hearing good things about how the players / players families / agents are feeling about Hatcher right now..... starting to sound like we may have a real problem on are hands if he remains Head Coach..
Could get very ugly in the room, must be very awkward for Kelton... everyone in the organization, players and parents not happy with his dads coaching ability and work ethic. I really hope the rumour about hatcher leaving the organization is true and legwand and his business associate takes over. I just hope either legwand is a good coach if he takes the reigns or he brings a good smart coaching staff in.

Fun Times!

I really want to know if these people, and people within the organization are bringing their concerns to Hatcher himself. Or, if the people around Hatcher are yes men telling him he's great. Hopefully the GM, president or anyone else are telling him he's terrible and should step down.

I am not blaming Hatcher for not wanting to coach.Everybody on this board would want to do the same thing if we owned the team.Where I blame Hatcher is he has proven he cant coach and should grow some gnomes and step away and try someone different for not only his sake but the team and future draft considerations

Noticed our former Greyhound had two goals last night. Glad for him. Heard he was dealing with a shoulder injury for a few weeks. Hope this means he has recovered. Like the Sting, we need points or the playoffs will not be in our future.

Way to early prediction on lines:
Bitten-Rees-Roth
Voit-Import-Perreault
Guy-Hill-1st Rounder
Dann-Burke-O'Donnell

Stratis-Nolet
Hjorth-Reesor
Kammerer-Mast
X: Dillingham

Gaudreau
Langevin

I honestly dont think it's far off from being a great team. They could use another high-end F, another 3rd line F & depending on the steps Hjorth/Nolet take potentially a high-end Dman.

This all rides on coaching obviously. With the right system in place i like the team & what it could be. If its the same coaching staff then we are screwed before it even starts.

This is a textbook case of the head coach totally losing the room . It looks like the team has totally quit on the coach .
Once that happens it’s really hard to reverse the situation.
Very disappointing (yet again ! ) for Sting fans because given the talent on this team the team should be doing significantly better .
Would expect attendance to be pretty sparse for the rest of the year .

I'm not sure how but things continue to get worse! Perreault has been suspended 2 games for abuse of official.

No surprise. Game misc. for abuse of official according to the box score... automatic 2 games.
Does it really matter??

It doesn't but now no Perreault, Rees or Voit. Almost no creativity on forward for the next 2 games vs Windsor & Saginaw..

Gonna be 2 long nights.

Hey, we’ll wear out McGregor and Josling on the penalty kill as well...
By the way, our buddy mr Perreault has team-worst minus-25 in the +/- column. He’s basically a power play specialist, but his absence may keep the Windsor score down. Some of our “best players” are still pretty flawed.

He definitely needs work on his 2way game but he is still a good 5on5 player. He plays alot on a team that cant play a lick of defence. Like last night he goes -2 but there is legitimately nothing he could do on either goal as it was on are Dmen..

Not ignoring his poor 2way play but i can give him a pass especially on this team. He also has been on his own line with mainly Burke & Voit since Christmas & that line stands no chance vs elite teams

Man, that is scary. I took another browse thru the box score and looked at who was on as D pairing for each goal. They spread it around pretty evenly - all guilty on at least a couple of occasions.

The scariest thing is i feel like we could so this for 90% of are losses this season.. No Awareness in are own end. Also pisses me off Hatcher didn't use his timeout last night after it got to 4-1.

I know I’m being hard on the guy, but it’s just the way my brain works... was pulling today’s tickets out of the binder and noticed Rees’ draft picture... perhaps instead of sweater draw for the game we could have a Jameson Rees game worn tie as the draw,,,

With Rees and Perreault out and if voit is still out I would like to see the sting call up Degurse he has 8 pts in 2 games and now has 52 pts in 28 games

Well gotta like the effort today. I expected a total blowout & we got a highly entertaining close game.

Gaudreau was awesome! Looked so dialed in. Really missed Rees & Perreault in OT&SO..

I dont wanna keep being negative but why in the world did Nolet & Hjorth not get a single shift in OT??? EASILY are 2 best offensive Dmen & they dont touch the ice in 3on3... Not to mention having Hatcher & Kammerer play over half of it was so incredibly stupid..

Love the DeGurse line today! All 3 were buzzing. Wish Hill would use his speed more often. When he does he is so much more effective. O'Donnell looks like a whole new player now that he got a PT & is getting ice time.

Most entertaining game in a while. DeGurse great game. Keep him up and play with Hill & O’Donnell.
would likely have won with either suspended player on the ice... where have I heard that one before
Oh yeah, 2 wins in 23 games without Rees.
Actually looking forward to game vs Saggy.
