Hockey Canada pedigree is driving the Byram thing. They’ll consider Girard because he’s an excellent NHL player but he doesn’t have the pedigree.

Funny that Girard returns before anyone expected and scores the opening goal yesterday and yet not one question asked to anyone post game about him/it. He’s vastly under appreciated.
