That desire of toughness doesn't seem to be enough of a reason for them to want to re-sign Ferland. A player who at this point is not only better, but more effectively "tough" than Lucic has been the past 2 seasons.

He's busted tail on many back checks this season, point at the crap offense but he has shown hustle defensively.

Larsson is criminally underrated. I wouldn't trade him for anything less then a Pietrangelo level dman, and even then I would want to trade someone else.

I'd definitely give Schneider a chance. The last year has been a nightmare for him and has proved he can handle succeeding in a Canadian city. Might just need a change of scenery.

What? Sekera is weeks away from returning and Reider + Benning cost only about half of Stone's future salary
