The problem is there is a complete dearth of scorers available. We can't be giving Leo Komarov top 9 minutes as he drags down everybody he plays with. At best he is the sub for when someone on your fourth line inevitably gets hurt. That being said, Ross Johnston fills that role cheaper.

I think the problem is many of us here thought he would sign for like 1 year under a million and in that case Parise looks great, maybe he is looking for stability(longer term) and I rather not offer that, letNJ give him a retirement contract

I would argue that it wasn't so much the PP that was the issue. It was the complete inability to sustain drives in the offensive zone and get pucks on net.
