Donny Wads the absolute madman just picked up a 6th!
It could turn into jesper bratt, you never knowwaste of 685k of cap space
Does this look like the face of mercy?
Haha, I had this same post queued up and then I went to do the dishes instead. Dynasty yo. I reckon if we do nothing this deadline, it's worth someone getting their knickers in a knot. But I doubt that happens. And we still have a couple of ways to make some space if needed.I mean hey, Tom Brady was a 6th round pick! Never discount those.
Slepets to Toronto, basically as a reserve-list technicality for the cap brokering. Hey, it's a free 6th rounder, no complaints whatsoever. We have two more retention slots if we want to use them, BTW.
6th round picks are like driving a ford pinto.
The thread reads better when you replace pinto with Shane Pinto. He might have a gambling problem LOLOLOLOLTo be fair, you'd definitely trust the 6th round pick to be a legit player before you trust that the Pinto won't catch on fire.
But I see what you're saying haha
Thought the same thing when Jersey retained on Tanev. Maybe so?Could this be a I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine and the Canes get Frank Vatrano for a decent price, like a Suzuki and a 2nd or 3rd round pick?
I doubt it. If it wasn’t the canes some other team would have done it. I think it was just easier for ducks gm to ask Waddell who was probably sitting beside him the last 2 games if he wanted the free pick.Could this be a I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine and the Canes get Frank Vatrano for a decent price, like a Suzuki and a 2nd or 3rd round pick?
"Hey, I'm gonna go grab a beer, do I bring one for you too? Want a 6th rounder?"I doubt it. If it wasn’t the canes some other team would have done it. I think it was just easier for ducks gm to ask Waddell who was probably sitting beside him the last 2 games if he wanted the free pick.

Anyways, getting a pick from TOR for some cap space has served us well in the past.
One thing for sure, the Canes seem to be always in on the “almost” deal for a big time player, but consistently fall short.Man. Carolina so close to that game changing talent they need so bad.
