Hackett just robbed last years playoff hero vs Amerks - D'Amigo.

Not much shooting today for both teams - shots tied at 4.

TV: The game is on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel backup channels in each city - Buffalo its Channel 87 and Rochester its Channel 98. Its not on the main channels because of the Bisons-Red Wings baseball game.

Connolly and Larsson each get called for slashing.

First period ends - Amerks 0 Marlies 0 - shots on goal - 5-4 Marlies.

Toronto did indeed get the extra penalty according to the game sheet at the end of the period, so PP Amerks to start the 2nd.
